I think it was SRV and GPV. Surprisingly, my first technical conversation within the org was with jbone about Little Piece o' Heaven, for which I congratulated him on releasing it in mp4 and then asked if he knew a way to extract the data to avi because there were no parsers back then, only mp4ip, and I wanted to page through the vid in vdub :|
He then sent me the divx3 avi for my effort.
Good times

The Guides and AMVapp. THough I knew about Shameless Rock Video from being shown in convention video rooms as time slot fillers long before, I did not know it was by him.
I don't know him personally so cannot comment on how nice, Leet or elite he might or might not be, (especially since he speaks very little in the forums) He is nice enough to make AMVapp for us, which eliminates the need to find all those great utilities on our own, and the guides are a great help for new people entering the arena. For this he deserves every bit of credit. And I have never seen him show any form of elitism, although he is blunt at times. (which may be mistaken for elitism by some)
I wonder if he even knows we are talking about him....
Oh and Ditto to the funky Avatar part

I remember my first encounter with AD...
I was in England and Simon Cowell was beating the crap out of me for no reason telling me never to sing again even though I didn't say a single word to him. Then AD played Shameless Rock Video and it made Simon go away. I was about to thank AD and then he got into my car and drove off.
Thanks AD!
