Dude, it's all about "Endure."

<---part of the .01% of the world that thinks that is Fluxy's best video. Bar none.

(you should see the ginormous op I wrote...I think I'm gonna make it my Master's thesis :P)

I agree that positive/negative feedback is more then welcome, especially when it is helpful to the creator. But when someone actually goes out of there way to insult you, that doesn't say much about the person doing the insulting except... "THEY NEED A LIFE!"

But what am I saying, we all need lives here.

:| Some people might earn for living editing. I wouldn't mind sitting and editing the whole day as well it feeds my family and makes the children happy.

You're right, but even if it's "human" for us to do such things, it's still not the "right thing" to do. Given, I can't deny that I don't do the same thing and have been "disappointed," but I have never e-mailed someone and been so rude about it.
I never meant to imply that it was right, or justify the actions of people that send e-mails demanding "Souls of Rage and Sorrow 2". I'm simply saying, that this is the way human beings are and they arent going to change, so it's simply best to accept that fact and move on. But in the event that you do try to do something about it, the first step would be to inform the offender of their wrong. Tell them you are going to make the videos you want to make and you don't owe them anything. It'll do a hell-of-a-lot more than whining about it on a message board.
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab

:) I'm not trying to argue with you. I 100% agree with you and am just stating my displeasure with such human instincts (that even I do).

"All failed directors become movie critics."

I think this quote can be applied to our senerio. Check his profile, and commence laughter. :P

I think you should begin a "take no shit" policy, man. While this sort of feedback hasn't reached me much, the few people who say shit like that to me I tell to promptly shut the fuck up and never watch anything of mine again. If someone is that big of "fan" and can't even view a video with an open mind then I don't even want him/her to be watching anything of mine.

I dunno, I think its a good policy. Just remember that at the end of the day, this guy is an asshole and your an awesome editor. Pssshaw. :P

Yes, my intention was to change the world by posting this topic. As I pointed out, I have already responded to the comments. I was curious how others felt and how they might deal (or have dealt) with similar situations.

And uh... isn't your response to my so-called whining technically whining itself?
