thank you for the link - i'll check it out.
i just discovered another one myself (actually it was discovered for me, i just happened to see it at this week's meeting of my university's anime club) - it's called "Interstella 5555" and has some great shots of drums, electric keys, guitars, and a bass (as well as a starship-guitar-shaped starship) among other cool visuals and a sountrack by Daft Punk. very nice - a giant, professionally made amv with original artwork made specifically for the soundtrack (or maybe the other way around, i'm not sure).

in that case i'll have to get on it.
have to think of a way to blend them into some non-american anime, though, or else i shouldn't be uploading it.
it really would be a shame, though, to miss the chance to show off trent's incredible guitar skills (must be all those hours of nocturnal practicing - "as long as you don't drop it"), not to mention an angry guy fox day on the mic (guy fox, by the way, being some british dude who tried to blow up parlament or something like that a long time ago, explaining the punk attitude).

I'm only familiar with the 26-episode TV series, although I know there's also an OAV. The TV series is priced comparably to other series in the North American market. I bought it in a box from dvdsoon.com for $85 Canadian.rose4emily wrote:i'm looking for Vampire Princess Miyu. it seems to be licenced in America, so no fansubs, but I'm on a college campus with no car - so I can't just go to the mall and pick up a DVD. i have found it on amazon, but it was something like $20 a disc for a two-episode (i'm assuming 40 min.) disc.

I only skimmed this thread, so apologies if someone already mentioned this, but Fujimi Orchestra has an orchestra, with a focus on violins (and the conductor). Utena has a piano, Gravitation has guitars and keyboard, and Fushigi Yugi has a flute.
