Thats really not it. I've seen people that have been doing this for far longer than 2 years that still, to put it bluntly, suck. If you wanna be a "Famous AMV Creator" (fucking oxymoron.. we are such a niche it's not even funny) you create shiny videos that jack the masses off. Once you got that down, you have the midas touch. To make actual GOOD amv's, it takes drive, practice, and to put it bluntly, creativity.

Some people are lucky enough to be "born" with this inherent skill...

while others have to bust their behinds for it.

If you make a really good video, the opinions will start coming in. If your video isn't as good and you don't promote it properly... [me cries], then yes, you may end up stuck in the realm of mediocrity...

But from what I can tell, I've NEVAR seen a fantastic vid whose creator runs around badmouthing other people's vids... None of my vids have enough opinions for me to say they're even REMOTELY popular... But like some of you said, don't badmouth the "famous" vids. The creators put a lot of time and effort into them and petty jealousy is a waste of text...
