Wow! So they do exsist! I thought they were lying. lol. Anyway. Welcome! *^_^* I hope that you do release a vid at some point. It sounds like you would do something cool. *^_^* But really, even if you use a simplistic anime for an AMV, if you make a better vid with it than the person who used the "fancier" anime, then it should still win out. (If you're going competitive with it. *^_^* Even if you don't, you still have enough people around here who will recognize talent over "OOO!!! PRETTY!!!")

As far as AE goes, no clue. But I know that's really what you can load into Premiere, so that's probably what you can load into AE
Nonsense wurpess. I'm YOUR fanboy :O

Thanks, I think you're right in the fact that it shouldn't matter what anime is used, if your editing is superior then it should be noticeable.

I really hope that my first release at the org will be a good one. I'm determined to make it worthwhile watching, so that I can be proud I made it. With the holidays coming up, I can spend every moment of my dull life perfecting it ~.~

Yeah, wtf? :P

Welcome to the .org Pas1990. My advice is to have fun, take it slowly, and read the guides carefully. :)

Yes. If you do a decent job, it will be liked. . .apparently even if you use Hello Kitty. :P

Yeah I think I've read all the rules and guidelines for the .org

Going through all the tutorials may take awhile, but you get what you give, so that's a given.

Anyway, you guys are all really nice, so I'm sure that I wont come across too many problems.

This is one thing that has been bothering me for awhile, is that when you announce your AMV, a few people comment/download, but then what? How does it continue getting so many hits? I've seen links in some of your sigs, and if you make it into the top 10% then it will just keep climbing naturally, but if it doesn't, then what? I guess that means your AMV is a failure?

.. ? failure ? .. no amv is a failure; you are playing to an Audience -- is it what the Audience likes or not is the question 8-) and THAT you learn in time 8-) 8-)

If you enjoyed making it and its enjoyed by at least a few, I wouldn't really consider the AMV a failure, but my opinion only counts for one vote. But anyway, people will do super searches, and if your vid is within the criteria they set (like it uses the anime or music they were looking for.) and it looks interesting to them, you can get downloads that way. Or if anyone clicks on your profile and looks through your vids, you can get more downloads that way. (Being active on the forums and making banners that get worthy are good ways to bring more people to your prof.) Putting links to your vids in your sig is also good. And there's also word of mouth and stuff. And if its on someone's favorite AMVs list. Along with participating in op exchanges. Which is the best way to get ops on your vids. Particularly just starting out before you're well known.

Thanks for the explanation wurpess. I just checked out your profile and damn you've worked on a lot. I'll get around to downloading them soon.

I think that I remember the AMV a lot better if the person's name is memorable. Names like Koop, Fuze, Lok, AuN and ScorpionP are the first ones that pop into my head.

Should I perhaps consider shortening my tag to just Pas?
