I agree with the whole bag on the sucky, fansubbed, subtitled splattered amvs that consume the tube, but even non-tube members do the same thing. You can't pinpoint that whole fad on the tube; it's merely because people are lazy bums who wish to take the easy way out on everything and want the most success.

Blame it on today's society as a whole rather than a website, even if it the front runner.

Sure, people can get good comments on the tube for sucky amvs, but on here, they have to work much harder, which in turn, proves my point that the tube is like a stepping stone.

And no, I would not want the org to turn into another tube site, but people are still going to do the same things as they are doing now BECAUSE they are people, and you cannot control what they do or how they act.

That's free will at it's finest, my friends. :lol:

We really don't give a fuck if it's happening somewhere else, but if things are happening here there is something we can do to fix it. It's called an IP ban.

True. An IP Ban would be an effective appalication, but there will always be more. No matter how many IPs you ban, some punk kid will come and do it again.

By banning an IP, we really aren't solving the issue on hand.

We REALLY need to teach the youth of today that they have to work in order to gain something, and that praise can only be achieved through dedication to their craft. They also have to learn that taking the easy way out will eventually lead to disaster in the end.

I am unsure how we can teach these naive, teenage clones a damn thing though; they are rather stubborn and stupid. ><;

Damn...I really do sound old, don't I?

Totally agree with ya. Something really needs to be done. And I don't think that there is really NOTHING that can be done. There must be solution for this problem :?

o_O

You are correct in saying that there will always be people who will post the tube links, but still, that cannot be put to blame by the tube. It is a utility, run by us, humans, and we control what goes on it. You cannot blame the tube on the downfall of amv making either, for that is the human race's own damn fault as well.

If we want to fix a damn thing about either site, we have to pinpoint the demographics, i.e, the people who are doing this, get them to wise up, learn how to not be a lazy bum anymore, grow up, learn that if they want something they have to work for it, and if they don't comply, then the ip ban should be taken into effect.

Don't just automatically use the ban without fixing humanity first. Computers can wait. A messed up, irresponsible kid, cannot, for if we do not get after them in the early stages, then there is no hope for the future, both in amv making and in our world as well.

Boochsack is often the viagra for the kiddies´ e-penis. That´s really anoying -.-'

Uhm... I have an idea! Why not...:
See. If you write a post with a boochsack link in it in the announcement thread, you simply can´t post it because the system tells you that there are no ´tube links allowed (there or at more forums).

So the only thing we have to deal are the "I can´t post boochsack links!!!!!111" - threads. Sounds worthy in my ears.

Hm...not a bad idea, but that is totally avoiding my point of stopping the kids from being freakin ignorant for the rest of their lives in the first place.

I want them fixed before anything else because I'll have to deal with them for the rest of my existance. ><;

But, as a temporary fix, it's not the worst idea that could be put out there.

So we've gone from bitching about the tube, to bitching about people bitching about the tube, to fixing humanity?

Oh well, I'd be with you guys on fixing humanity but I never bothered to get a firearms identification card so my efforts would technically be illegal. Although, thinking about it, they'd probably still be illegal even if I did have have that card.
