Why do you like making AMVs?

Because I idolspize all of you.

I think I've always visualized certain images when listening to music. The best songs, imo, create a clear picture in your mind that follows the music. Kinda like how reading a well written book makes it easier to visualize the actions and settings on the page. Using anime makes it easier to conceptualize the connections between the music and the visuals because of the themes and styles of the medium.

At this point in time, since I'm just starting to actually edit AMVs on computer instead of just in my head, I think I'm making them to see if my ideas can actually be fully realized.

And it's nice to see how you improve with making more videos.
And you can be creative while making a video^^

heres what you gotta do: post your videos on youtub<a>e</a>.com make sure your videos are nothing but sugar and pretty sparkles, and you will hook them O.o

Making AMVs is a creative outlet for me as well. With everything else in life going on, it's nice to be able to just sit and focus on editing, while letting your head go krazy with different ideas. Another draw is this whole community surrounding the hobby. Of course it's not why I make AMVs, but it's definitely cool to have a supportive and lively community like the one here.

That's not the only reason, really, but it's probably the biggest. It's also another way of spreading music I like. >.>
