My Neighbour Totoro - ocarina (silly, yes, but hey, it's a musical instrument that gets played in the movie...)

doesn't one of the chicks in shamanic princess play the flute as well? i think in the tenchi ova's one of the bad guys plays an organ too. i just spazed and forgot his name though. starts with a K i think.

the teacher in I My Me Strawberry Eggs plays a guitar sometimes too. trigun has a sax also. if i come across anymore i'll post.

vampire princess miyu - i've been wanting to see that for a while, haven't located a copy (fansub or otherwise) yet, though, so i guess i have to keep looking.

The soul piper plays the flute or some other wind instrument in Inuyasha. Not human though, the soul piper is a big, yellow floating ball with huge eyes.

well, i'm watching Gravitiation now (so far it's been pretty good) and finding all the instrumentals in that.

i'm looking for Vampire Princess Miyu. it seems to be licenced in America, so no fansubs, but I'm on a college campus with no car - so I can't just go to the mall and pick up a DVD. i have found it on amazon, but it was something like $20 a disc for a two-episode (i'm assuming 40 min.) disc. i don't exactly have the money to pay $10 an episode for an OVA right now - and have found other sites with much cheeper prices, but imagine that they have to be bootlegs, so am staying away. if anyone knows of a LEGITIMATE web-store that sells affordable anime DVDs, please post.

the others i'll get to after i finish with Gravitiation (it seems to be the one most densely packed with what i'm looking for right now).

alright, I was bored, so I looked up vampire princess miyu for you. seems there's an OVA and a TV series. Digital Eyes (I found them through dvdpricesearch.com) has the first 2 disks (I don't know if there are more) of the OVA for $11.98 apiece here:

I'm not sure they're legitimate, but I see no indications that they're not.
