I was given the opportunity last year to bend the rules to get into a local amv contest... I turned them down out of respect for the other entrants. It would not be fair to the other contestants for me to compete by submitting after the deadline. I did offer him a few of my videos to showcase if he wanted to fill time, but said I didn't want to be in the contest for the unfairness factor.
