Re: Least Favourite Personal AMV
I just watched all my videos.
I don't hate any of them.
I can see mistakes in the earlier ones but I still like them for a variety of different reasons. Why would I make it if it wouldn't be something I'd enjoy?

My 1st 4?
(Which, coincidentally, are all my WMM vids.) Well, not 'Shoot the Kitties'. But I hate the other 3.
Of my "newer", non-WMM stuff:
Seriously, can an AMV get more boring? -_-

Re: Least Favourite Personal AMV
I guess that's why I was careful about the usage of the word hate and opted for the thread title of "least favourite". I too don't hate my work, no matter how they may make me cringe these days because of their flaws, and those of course are the videos which I don't put in my playlists nearly as much as the others.Fall_Child42 wrote:I just watched all my videos.

It makes sense that if you had a favourite, then you'd also have one which wasn't... maybe.

I dunno. I will say at some point during editing on every vid i've done so far, I come to a point where I think it will be the worst thing ever created.
Depends on my mood that day I guess.

Re: Least Favourite Personal AMV
There's a small stint between OMG Du Hast and The SW Gansta Raptor that I can't really sit all the way through. Most were just silly pointless crap that was made to kill time and satiate deadlines. Most everything else has grown on me as I aged as an editor despite the minor nuances that plagued most of them. But that's what learning is all about. No one comes in with no knowledge or practice and makes a prefect video. The lack of ivtc or shear loss of x ingredient is just the technical level I was at upon said time. It's nothing that I am shamed because I pour all of my (then) current being into said project.

This was an AMV I made when I first got Sony Vegas to try out what I could do with it. Feel free to point and laugh at me for even making it. 0_o It's actually the oldest AMV I still have on my computer since all the older ones got deleted when my computer died last year and the hard drive got wiped, but I had a download link for this one so I got it back. I have since removed it from the internet but put it on Y0U - TUBE so you people could watch it.
PS. TAKE OUT THE **s IN THE URL.

Re: Least Favourite Personal AMV
I have two but for different reasons...
This was the first video I ever released. It just makes me cringe because of "first timer mistakes" that I wouldn't make now. But it has nostalgia going for it.
This one makes me cringe in a more "what the hell was I thinking?!" kind of way. This was the first AMV I ever edited that had a plot of some kind thanks to copious amounts of lyric sync. Some of it still seems to be as clever as I thought it would be back in the day...but some of it also seems really forced and the musical bridges are pretty random. I don't feel like it's that easy to follow what's going on in the story compared to the other stories I tried to tell more recently.
