If it's some sort of specialty prize, then great, I'd love it. If it's just a generic "Ur a Winrarz!" trophy that I could buy down at the hobby shop for $20. Well, I'd rather get a material prize like DVDs or hardware.

As to the topic, I will note that I have no idea where the awards I've won even are much less actually care about them. Personally the best reward for winning a contest is knowing you won the contest, provided you agree you should have won.
