about 15 people viewed and passed it though. And I hate how my damn name is my e-mail. I'm telling you, I'm totally handicapped with this site. About a year ago when I registered, I somehow thought that I had to enter my e-mail instead of username (not sure what it asked for).wurpess wrote:Well, you just announced it. You have to give people time. Plus, while the more well known editors around here may get lots of downloads and comments as soon as they post their vid, that generally won't happen for lesser known editors. It just takes some time and patience.
That's probably a major reason people won't view it, lol. If I saw some idiot with an e-mail instead of a username, I wouldn't watch his video either, lol.

People won´t view it because of you name... yes maybe a good percentage, but I think it´s because DBZ is heavly overused. Everything seams to be already done. Not a lot of forum users pay attention to it.
oh btw.:

Patience is everything at the beginning.

You have to understand that just because you have a video on this site, it doesn't automatically mean hits, views, opinions, comments, etc. The best place to start is the AMV Announcements forum. When you release a new video, make a thread there. Also, that doesn't mean that people will comment on it. Most people download a video, watch it, and that's that. Even if they like it. That's simply how it goes. It's the same on You-Tube. Look at a video that has like 1 million hits, and it'll have maybe 3000+ comments (if that).
Basically the rule of thumb around here is, if you make good videos that people enjoy and you don't act like a complete retard on the forums, you will get noticed eventually.

Yeah, I pretty much realized that. I'm just waiting for like at least one comment XDBrad wrote:You have to understand that just because you have a video on this site, it doesn't automatically mean hits, views, opinions, comments, etc. The best place to start is the AMV Announcements forum. what the fuck do you mean "what to do?" we've already told you. Just wait, or you could try expanding your horizon to OTHER anime that people aren't completely tired of. Trust me, there is better anime out there then DBZ and Death note. If you're sitting here waiting for comments, I don't know what to tell you, but you should just be editing or something...

Woa! Relax... That was rhetorical... And what you told me is opinion. I've watched many other animes and I don't like them at all. DBZ and Death Note are the only ones for me ^^NerdStrudel wrote:what the fuck do you mean "what to do?" we've already told you. If you are looking for a little quicker turn around on comments, you really should go try the opinion exchange. The "downside" is that you'll probably have to watch other peoples videos in the process. But if you want to get ops from people that is the fastest way to go about it. Just make sure to lurk a couple of the current topics to know how to proper start the process.Typhoon859@GMail.com wrote:Yeah, I pretty much realized that. Then again, I never ask for any.
