I'd also like to remind people that smoking is bad for your memory.

Currently on hand I have roughly 6 terabytes of burned data, 8 terabytes on 20 400 gig removable rack mount drives and on my primary system I can run up to 3 removable rack mount drives along with its 4 internal drives (2 400 gig and 2 250 gig drives).
...of course business wise that's pretty paltry compared to what even other small production companies run on. I don't even own any real super clusters as of yet. Although I do have a portable symmetric multiprocessing rig setup that can slave any machine connected to its network loaded up with a custom bootable copy of Cluster Knoppix...it's not exactly an SGI Altix 3000 or anything, but it runs alright.

Desktop with 80 gigs and a laptop with 70 gigs, however, i can only have roughly 15 gigs on the desktop that i can use safely without slowing down the comp too much (games, anime, movies and other apps take up a lot, oh and of course my stock of favorite amvs) and about 25 gigs on the laptop that i can safely use (same thing with space taken up).
So i usually edit on the laptop, just 1 amv at a time, after i finish one i dump all the material to make room for the next, gonna get a new comp this summer hopefully and i'll be sure to get a LOT more space on it

Uhm... I think this topic is pretty nice.
@Jannis: Oh come on =P
I have 280GB and when I edit on a AMV I´ve 50GB free space. Thanks to a friend I can use one of his 200GB external harddisks if I need one. Most of the time they act like stores. He uses the drives for his programms. There are no problems with the regestry. So he can edit everywhere with his external hd.
That´s nice!
