Storyboarding issues!!!!!

I usually don't map out the AMV from start to finish. Instead I usually write down all my effects and timing ideas for certain parts of the song and I'll jot down if one specific scene pops in my head for a lyric or something. So basically I write up an idea sheet for a vid but never a solid play-by-play storyboard.
