And DC is mor user friendly

I used to have my AMVs sorted by creator, but then my harddrive died on me and I download all the AMVs again but this time I didn't sort them. Would you like to sort out or rename 43GB of AMVs? You can use a-m-v.org and the DC-hub to download and find info more effective than if you use just one of them at the time.quadir wrote:If I may make a tiny little suggestion, make sure the creator's name is in the AMV filename! For some reason, a lot of creators forget to include much info inside the video, so it's really annoying having amv's and have no clue who made them. Although I admit this is more true of older videos then newer ones.
I collected through file sharing a long time ago too, and that was my main problem once I started caring about finding more vids by the same creator.
It's not you I'm worried about -- it's others. The "inter" in "Internet" brings with it possibilities that must be carefully managed.Moonzag wrote:Well, you can atleast give it a chance, it'll be fun! And it's not like we're asking you to ditch this site or anything. :P
There is nothing to be scared of, we won't bite you nor give you a virus tha'll bite your head off.

I have a fairly good idea what kind of traffic my machines see, having taken random samples of such traffic. It's not pretty. While I'm doing pretty well now in terms of machine security, the last thing that I want to do is rip open a new hole.
