Post subjects are a waste of time
Whenever I'm no longer able to contribute, or any contribution I can make is useless.

So basically you're leaving when we hire our own a-m-v.org police in riot gear. RELEASE THE HOUNDS!!!Vlad G Pohnert wrote:I don't really want to leave... Sometime I feel like I should but then again someone has to keep an eye on this place and ensure everyone is on thier best behavior....

You did not just say that to Nathan Beznerleathelanime wrote:Nightowl wrote:We'll see what happens after AWA. And just because someone leaves the .org or stops going to the forum doesn't mean they're out of the AMV community. Keep that in mind - the con community is far different and, in my opinion, better at this stage. This post has gone on too long.

Silence that Newbish tongue of yours! You do not have the choice on what time my topic should end! Remember that!

(wow, this post is supposed to be semi-facetious, but it came out sounding pretty damn mean. heh.)
I have no idea how to use this new forum.

I'm thinking that some people are starting to use the post count and activity in the a-m-v.org forum as the criteria for someone being a newbie or not. That's ridiculous on so many different levels that I don't know where to start.Kusoyaro wrote:You did not just say that to Nathan Beznerleathelanime wrote:Nightowl wrote:We'll see what happens after AWA. Just goes to show that sometimes "newbieness" isn't just a temporary phase.

Uh-Oh. Someone is bating Nate...not a good sign...
As far as the org is concerned...
I'm already visiting less often. I stopped reading most of the forums when I left to go overseas, and by the time I got back we had the flames and the spam and people were warning me on IM to not even bother with the off topic forums anymore as well as the AIM chat (which is apparently now like the off topic forums but in real time...
I'm down to reading only the general, contest, and convention forums regularly now and occasionally checking the site suggestions. It's just gotten ridiculous.
I do keep using my journal though. It's not on LJ, which is reason enough for me to keep visiting the site and using it. And the org still has some uses for future projects mwahahahaha...
I also need to throw in my agreement with Nate - going to cons is where the real fun is with AMV folks now. The ML has had an unfriendly feeling for so long that I'm only subscribed for con news and for when friends point me to flame wars and funny threads...
Yes, time for the community to grow up...
