Best Intros......

Rozard's "Excel's Day Job," SpPanda's "Ever 'R's," and melezov's "To Be Excel" are my favorite Intros. Melezov's is the best because it's less than 1 second long

Personally I haven't done a real intro yet, I've only done outtros thus far, but I have fun with them, by putting in scenes that are related to the AMV. Whee.

I try not to spend an overly large amount of time doing them, though. 1 hour is the most I've spent on an outtro.

I was just thinking about making intros. I thoght it would be a cool idea to have a radar-like thing with the green line that goes in a circle. After a couple spins, it would reveal the creator or studio name as it spun around. I also tried doing a box-radar-type thing where the green line goes from one end of the screen to the other and then repeats, eventually revealing the creator or studio name. Too bad it didn't work...

...maybe one of you could use something like this?...

I used to make Text/picture only intros, but now I make Text/Funky background/Funny audio outros.

The one on my Evangelion - War Of The Worlds has Rimmer from Red Dwarf saying "Even better - switch me on, switch me off, like I'm some battery powered sex aid." I'm quite proud of that one...

This isn't probably such a well known video, but the best and funniest intro that I've seen has to be NeWaVeNewtype Production's Vib FLCL video's intro. It has a rabbit in it. I used to watch that video just because of the intro.
