I liked the bit in the newsletter. It puts a nice face on LAMVs. Since I usually use LAMVs myself, it's nice to see them get some attantion.

And on another note, my experience on this site tells me that people hate LAMVs. Why?

Not sure who you're talking to. There are a ton of really great live-action videos.

i think youre mistaking people disliking abuse of the servers/breaking the site rules with hating live action mvs... quite a few of the people i have met on this site actually like them and make them as well...

I don't get it. We're allowed to talk about live action vids? How come, since we're not allowed to talk about anything more than anime here? They even closed my Disney topic because of that. Well, I'm pretty much interested in other music videos as well, not just the anime ones. I thought I'll find them here, but prolly not...

I'm really disappointed in this forum. I have to tell you guys, YOUR RULES SUCK! Big time.

You know Despite the poor Grammer and sentence structure, you do have a point.

This thread under those rules should have been locked long ago, (or at least moved to the donor's forum.)

On your other vexation I have to say this: I don't know why you would expect to see other music videos here. This is ANIME music videos .org, not anime (and some other) music videos . org, it would be akin to going to Disney world and saying I like all animation why is there no Dreamworks stuff around?

So all in all I'm going to go to the Mods place and request this thread AND your thread be moved to the donors forum.

i think i had said it before )and someone chewed me out for it) but i thought that all the non-anime stuff was supposed to go into this thread... (but i was chewed out for posting a disney video here which is clearly not "live action")

it's nice to have a thread that "pushes the rules" a bit... perhaps a sticky of "other videos by amvers" thread could be "created" or this one could be renamed?

either way if its not a good idea... then I agree that they both should be unlocked and shoved in the donator's section :3
