Relevant, digging around my old apache files I found images circa 2000/2001 of my dorm room set up.
On the left is my purple 1998 VAIO 333MHz Celeron Minitower with 64MB of ram (Utena Story of a Girl was made on this, first with Ulead Media Studio in 1999, later revamped sorta in 2001 on the computer on the right), during college it ran a Red Hat Linux web server, and people could directly access my box via http at chibiusa.wox.org (chibiusa is the name of the computer) and download my vids, since at the time, broadband was so new, the college gave each ethernet plug an actual static ip.
The computer on the right would be Usagi, and it had at one point been a 1999 Compaq Presario, but was heavily frakensteined by the time this photo was taken. It was my main editing machine.
Michiru was my laptop. I edited two videos on this, my CCS vid, and my Airbats vid, usually during really boring lectures. Uh... uh... cartoons? No, Professor, I was... uh... just taking notes. Yeah. ANIMATED notes! It got stolen in 2002.
Also, off the apache server I was running, anyone remember this gem?
