Yeah I know that. Sadly again, pretty much everyone uses that in their digimon videos. I'm speaking mainly of the season, 01, 02, tamers, and 04.

So Pyle,

You make videos to be popular
You don't have the savy to type in "DVD RIPPER" into google
You try your best to be completely derivative
Your making a video with Digimon

Way to go Ace. Aren't 9 pages of people telling you STFU enough?

This thread is so... surreal.
I'm completely impressed that after all this people are still posting constructive replies and links. *corran* cough *scintilla* cough *arigatomyna* hack... *pwolf*.. ahem, even me.

Pyle, you really should work your way through the guides. Your footage will look premium, you will have a better understanding of most of the tech involved with making your video.

Also, get a book on STORYBOARDING, this will help you make awesome videos. Most people do it naturally or even instinctively as they are mentally planning out a video.

This whole thing got started because you wanted to make a video like Euphoria... with an assload of layers and effects. The thing is... it's not the effects that make Euphoria good, it's how they are used.

You have a crapload of videos already on the .org so maybe what you are 'really' asking for is someone to teach you new things. Try a local community college with a video course, you may be surprised at what you know... *reads back a few pages* ... or maybe not.
Build a man a fire, and he will be warm for a night. Set a man on fire, and he will be warm for the rest of his life.

By Storyboarding, I assume you mean drawing boards onto a sheet...I don't have the time. If that's not what you mean, sorry for my newbishness.

I've read quite a few of the guides, just not the ones that have to do with video :P.

As for Beowulf's post, has anyone told me to STFU yet? If they have, I'll be quiet and won't post here anymore.

One last thing: can anyone recommend me a decent FTP program? FTP surfur just cut an upload at 94 fucking percent. I knocked my monitor off the desk, and was about to throw it out the window, but I caught myself.

Please w/b.

Because of Phade's lack of freedom-giving, I wasn't able to edit my last post and add another rebuttal toward Beowulf.

I did type DVD RIPPER into google and download.com. After going through 7 or 8 rippers, I gave up. Each one of them fucked up my computer a bit more then the last.

Perhaps he means just writing out what scenes you want where. I actually did this for my last video, and it actually helped, especially considering I sometimes have trouble remembering where I found that clip I wanted to use, or whether I had already planned to use a certain clip somewhere else in the song...

You don't have to do that...just think about what you want to do, and do it.

It's much more productive than, say, bitching.

So why don't you? 99% of your questions could be answered if you just sat down and read, say, EADFAG. The other 1% of those questions you can answer by further Googling or (my favorite) experimentation on your own.

STFU.

Try what's built-in with Windows Explorer. Though, on Windows, my favorite is SecureFX, as it handles not only FTP, but also SFTP and FTP in an SSH2 tunnel.

Of course, ncftp on UNIX systems ownz all as far as FTP is concerned.
