For those who wonder how I changed continents and kept editing at 2 VPM....

A guide to the numbers:

1: CD-R/DVD drive for gathering source and clearing space
2: 120GB external drive with four months' worth of source rips and several gigs of general junk
3: old-beater work laptop, being SH editing-station "Steelplank"
4: searching for footage for AMV Hell track
5: USB cord for the external drives; I'm not actively using them, so they aint plugged in
6: beer - it's what's for breakfast
7: expended energy powerups
8: inspirational music
9: und dazu/ Vier belegte Broet' mit Schinken/ Kein belegtes Brot mit Ei/Das sind vier belegte Broete/Vier mit Schinken keins mit Ei!

Pics of the new-hotness work laptop to follow once it gets issued; "inspirational music" from the top down is Nile's Annihilation of the Wicked, Manowar's Sign of the Hammer, Running Wild's Rogues En Vogue, Sentenced's The Funeral Album, Slayer's Show No Mercy, Finntroll's Midnattens Wunder, and Holy Moses' Strength Power Will Passion. I think I beat JCD for most spartan Euro setup.
