As to the site goal being to catalogue every AMV...that's insane. I could claim to have made seventy-four AMVs and demand that they all be named without providing any download info; how would you disprove my claim? It would be exactly the kind of shot at Internet celebrity that some people in this day and age can't pass up.

I know someone who have made over 100 amvs. Most with download info and most of them looked like it was done in 2 hours or even less. People don't go on making up amvs to look cool. To look cool is to making a cool amv, have people download it and then say that the editor is cool for making it.

The people who created this site is not going to waste their time trying to disapprove whether an amv exist. If they are going to go after someone who claim they made 72 videos then they have to go after people who have any amv entry without download info.

I'm not going to go around telling people off for not making their AMVs downloadable. They probably have their reasons. I myself only put up indirect downloads. But it does annoy me that you can't even watch these AMVs. I think the best thing for these people to do is give a link to Veoh or Myspace or *ahem* You -Tube or wherever they uploaded it so we can at least watch it.

I'm not going to go around telling people off for not making their AMVs downloadable. They probably have their reasons. I myself only put up indirect downloads. There are a number of videos from the Wind Up Records incident (and by a number I mean thousands) and there always were a number of videos that simply were never made, people that used the catalog to record ideas, and other childish shit. Using the search correctly solves all these problems.
