I didn't like her before she became a slut. Sure didn't like her when she became a slut, and have seen no reason to like her during or after her melt down.
Madonna she isn't. And even Madonna got old and boring.
Some artists just don't know when to get off the stage and where they belong, behind a control booth if they actually know anything.

Anime, one of the few things about the internet that doesn't make me hate the internet.

The shitty attempt at a story, the horrible music, just the idea Britney could kick anyones ass, the stupid little bicycle shorts (which actually keep changing length through the video. Quality animation work at it's finest). I damn near pissed myself laughing.
I especially like that this is animated, they could have drawn her to be hot and sexy. Instead they gave her this mouth so huge even Julia Roberts is sitting there going 'God damn that is one huge fucking mouth'. I kept waiting for someone to spill some drugs then her head to pop off, her mouth opens to half her face, and she starts chowing down on the pills while yelling 'wacka wacka wacka!'.
It was also a nice touch that even in animation she just couldn't keep from showing her crotch to everyone. Standing there with one leg in the air in a long ass 'pussy is here' shot. All it was missing was an animated neon sign going 'COCK GOES HERE?' or perhaps some creative lip syncing.

As much as I hate to even so much as try to justify COURTNEY LOVE over Britney Spears there actually was. Beside the point that Courtney being a drug queen, she was at least into the manga scene. She atleast got good people behind it to. Like the guys who made "Paradise Kiss", and "NaNa". Plus that Manga "Princess Ai" was inspired by some of her love life (with Kurt Cobane, idk?) It at least had a sense of style with the gothic lolita look.JaddziaDax wrote:well if Courtney Love can write a manga (and Avril Lavigne can have her own as well) then I don't really see the problem with it....
Now with Britney Spears she was just told by her producers in a nutshell, "We gotta get to these kid again your loosing ground! Kids are watching animes these days I tells yas. We animate you, looking all hawt and smexy, along with kicking ass and chewing bubble gum, but your all out of ass!"
If you read towards the bottom they never mentioned what type of animating group did this like Mad House/Gonzo, ect. But in South Korea where I'm sure they got the video for cheaper than Afro Samurai.

That almost offends me you would say that even for Ileia. it looks like they were just to animate the video for as long the song last with random scenes except lip sync. (But then again I would expect that, considering most music videos are like that). She would've been better off getting Studio 4c(Amazing Nuts anyone?).Lies, that's just an Ileia video that accidentally got on MTV

She took on a truck with an umbrella? Does that qualify for anythingjust the idea Britney could kick anyones ass, the stupid little bicycle shorts
case in point when what I said earlier about the Korean animation studio. Though it looked the people who made Aeon Flux a bit.the stupid little bicycle shorts (which actually keep changing length through the video. Quality animation work at it's finest).
I also want to close my comment with a complaint of the total in accuracy of this animated music video. I believe this picture speaks for it self.

I was joking. The theme of a mean-looking chick kicking everyone's ass just reminded me of Ileia, otherwise that's where the parallels pretty much end
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

I'm just making the comparison of a "musician" (though I'm sure we can all agree Courtney is more of a musician than the tool Britney is) getting into the anime/manga scene. As someone else mentioned Linkin Park - but to their defense they have been into the anime scene a lot longer than most other artists that I'm aware of. In other words, if one artist can do it why can't another?Yoko+ wrote:As much as I hate to even so much as try to justify COURTNEY LOVE over Britney Spears there actually was. Granted knowing its crazy old Spears makes the video lose flavor (not to mention the lack of sync in all directions - it could have been pretty cool if. you know, those fast camera movements actually synced to the music) but that doesn't mean that she can't do it. I also said it was a weak attempt at catching an audience thats slowly phasing out of style. At least Courtney and Avril caught the scene closer to the height of it's popularity.
We also gotta remember that its more than likely not Spears making these decisions but rather businessmen in suits hoping to make money off of what little popularity she has left. They see the popularity of Breaking the Habit and Kanye West's Stronger video (which is directly based off of Akira) and other anime videos and are hoping to ride the same kind of wave. If they were really smart they could have at least hired a studio that would sync the video to the audio (aside from the random lipsyncs in there).
As for the animation studio - yea it does look like they got one thats pretty cheap, and the only thing that makes it remotely look like Aeon Flux is the character design and the way her hair looks/moves. She needs to be a lot skinnier if she is going to fit into Aeon's world.
Truthfully if this were a fanmade amv, it would look like a bit of a newbie video to me due to the lack of coherency between the song and the video. Like they dropped the video on to the timeline and thought it was cool how it "kept syncing" and added random lipsync in there because everyone loves lipsync.
On a side note I found the video on youtube with the sole description: "Britney's worst video ever "

Just saw it (thanks boochscrotum).
Well I'm officially asking everyone to call it what it is, a cmv cartoon music video. Or if you prefer, crappy music video.
It has nothing in common with our anime. Thus it is not an amv.
The animation in it blew chunks too. Lousy is being too kind.
I've seen better content in our beginner editors work.
The song is repetitive as if she couldn't think up more than 20 words for the song. So it fails on the listen to it test.
The song and the video don't mesh. On the org, giving it a 2 is being too generous.
So this video would only get savaged at the org if it had never had connection to Spears in the first place.
She can't sing worth shit, and now she's shown she even sucks as a cartoon.
