Meh never really spent anything on my computer stuff, Im just using my computer from before i was into amv's

The only stuff i bought for my comp is 2 External HD's, one 120gb for $80 and a 500gb one for $130{it was on sale

}

On dvds i spent about $400 though T_T

Not a whole lot actually.. But I have also paid in a different way. the computer I have is kinda shitty, and I never have a good amount of space... I need to invest more money, also for my smartass remark:

I agree with you that it's definitely not a free hobby... funnily enough I thought it was when I started off with this,

Anyway, I am still trying to avoid paying money somehow.

Hard to say since I still don't only buy PC equipment, software and DVDs to use for AMVs - there's other uses for that as well.

All in all though, it's definitely somewhere in the area of $1000/year.

I spent a lot on dvds this year....and I bought a external hard drive for storing footage last week...so I'd say around 1000$...probably minus 100 dollars...

The only thing i've bought specifically for editing is source (which I promptly resold after I ripped it) to the tune of about $350. If you want to say my system was primarily for editing (i'll concede that point I suppose), that was around $1700 after my extra 2GB of RAM and 250GB HDD.
