Subtitles for lyrics?

Fansubbers have been doing that for some time now.

Yup...like flashy and colorful lyrics that animate to the words of the song...but I'm talking more about using the words as an art element...not having them across the bottom of the screen or top all neat and fansub like...but blown up big, used as part of the video. Like in Skittles.
