Ok, so I was bored, ok? I made a few simple calculations on how much Euphoria could have possibly "earned" from the time it was released.Prodigi wrote:theys be lies :OFlint the Dwarf wrote:Titanic has also grossed more than $6 billion in the box office.Infinity Squared wrote:Yeah, remember Titanic? Not only was it nominated but actually won tonnes of awards... That's not to say you don't have a point though. Not even the god-almighty Euphoria can match up to that.
I pay $70AUS per month for my internet with a bandwidth capping after 12GB. That therefore entails that:
$1AUS = 171MB
Now I want to take the absolutely most generous calculation, so let's assume that the number of downloads of Euphoria equal the number of hits (I know it's not realistic, but let's just play with this for a moment). Currently, Euphoria has 272, 172 hits and the local is 62.3MB in size. That means:
16, 956, 315MB worth of Euphoria was downloaded.
At 171MB for every $1AUS that means Euphoria has earned:
$99, 159AUS... rough conversion to USD puts it at about $70, 000.
Sadly, way short of the $6 billion that Titanic made

I need to go out more.
