you know....i doubt anyone would mind having their amv's viewed to your anime club...

I don't know why the heck you'd _ever_ show mine, but if you ever run into them, please refrain from showing them. Instead, get ahold of PGP's Wipe utility, and, using the maximum number of iterations, delete them.

I doubt anyone would have a problem.

At least I HOPE they wouldn't have a problem, considering that I'm in charge of the anime room at Archon each year, and each year we play a lot of AMVs made by many different people.

So... if anyone didn't wnat their AMV played, but I played it anyway... heh... oops.

none of us here have a problem with that but right now we do not have anything on our server, so there isn't anything for download. Here in a month or so we will release the best of MAS Productions volume 1. In it we will re release many of our better amvs and also release a few never seen on the web before.

Does anyone really NEED permission to show AMVs? They're not like anime shows that some company which can press legal action have licenced. And it's not like you went over to the creator's house and stole his/her naughty home videos to show at your club. Chances are, if you managed to get one of their videos, they probably WANT people to watch them anyways.

Yeah, thats cool. We just wanted to ask since it would be for a semi-large group of people but not in a contest format. Plus this way ya'll can know your getting an even bigger audience for your AMV's. This was more out of respect for the fact that you (the creators) put your time and effort into the videos (same reason why we won't edit out any of the intro's), rather than any legal issues.
