i would have to agree, i hate when people do that. i have yet to have that done here but with other places i have had people do that kind of thing and it pisses me off

Don't you hate it when you make a Music video just to have fun and then wind up with people making really strict comments such as these.

It's there oppinion so they're entitled to it. Honestly, just be thankfull for every op you get, because most people woent get many. Also you can iether choose to take a coment personaly and just get pissed, or try to understand what they actualy hate about the video. Bitching that someone pointed out faults in your vid is immature.

This is something off an AMV I made with Movie Maker (I have adobe now so it's all good).

No it isnt. Dont think that just because you've got a high end editor that your amv's are going to magicaly get better. They're not. A program itself does nothing to improve an editors skill. In truth they may make things tougher as they're harder to work with than the simpler programs like wmm. And there are people here who could produce amazing amv's blindfolded using wmm, so dont think of it as a n00bs program.

I don't know what you complain about. It looks like a justified op on your AMV. If you don't want your AMV criticized by the public, don't show it to the public. If you do it despite, then handle the critics properly. If they are justified, take them as advise how to improve. If you think it's not justified, use the comment field to reply or pm the reviewer. Stop whining about it in the public.

And, if you made the AMV just for fun like you say, why do you take that op that serious at all?

Now I could understand if the video was a year old, but I have videos that are 4 or 5 years old, and these are the ones they are looking at. I know they don't read the info, but you would think they may take the date created into consideration. (Shrugs) I know I do. A Linkin'ballz video made in 2001 would be alot more original then one made today.

aww man! and i was going to check out which AMV got such a "crappy review" maybe they have more than one screen name???? and they used this one to keep people from checking out their video???

I've made a bunch of "for fun" videos, and i can relate, i've been what to say... ummm... RAPED or excessively burned on numerous ones... but hey, when you make videos that arent supposed to blow peoples minds, i guess it just doesnt suprise me when people expect such. If anyone knows the "taking the hobbits to isegard" song, i made an AMV and just about every comment on it said the song was annoying. But hey, like stated before, i wasnt trying to blow peoples minds, just to make em smile once in a while
the silly ones are my personal favorite ones to watch
