ok, I don't have any cds with me hat are readable by macs, but i got a few songs that could bring an idea. As the Wired Knight said, your music and video have to be well chosen to bring us to tears. and would it be tears of happiness or weeping?

Oh, I was sorting through my CDs. . . Some really sad and depressing ones are found in the Final Fantasy IX four disc official soundtrack.

I've always thought that Eleanor Rigby by the Beatles would make an excellent amv if someone could pull it off. It's really sad and everyone loves the Beatles

A little known Aussie band called Bic Runga did a rather depressing song called Drive, but it would be a difficult AMV due to its acoustic nature.
