Look, I have some vids that I want to take down becuase I put smaller versions of the video's by accident. I want to remove them so I could repost the larger versions of the vids...
Since I do not wanna triple post, here is the current problem here http://i33.photobucket.com/albums/d55/M ... roblem.jpg

Go to the Edit My Videos page, file a delete request form, and make sure you put in the comments that you only want the locally hosted file removed, not the whole video entry.

Then wait for it to be processed. As I've never submitted one of these myself, I don't know how long it takes.

You can request a deletion but requests are only deleted in certain circumstances. Moderators can accept the deletion request, but only for the right reasons. The database is intended to be a complete record of all anime music videos. If you've uploaded something that isn't supposed to be there (all non-anime source, duplicate entry etc), then we can get rid of that if you tell us. To request for one of your video entries to be deleted, use the Request Video Deletion link on your Edit My Videos page.

Note that we can delete the video file (but not the database entry) if it didn't upload correctly, uploaded something unplayable, or if you are replacing it with a higher quality version
You need special circumstances apparently.

... Okay, I'm getting kind of frustrated... should I simply just post the BIGGER versions of the vids? Becuase I have bigger (As in larger screen sized) versions of my vids that I'd like to post, I accidently posted the smaller ones

Or if I just went ahead and posted the bigger versions of vids I've already posted, would that be going against any rules of some kind?

Relax man. Have you tried placing a posti in the Mod-box?
As near as I can tell from the FAQ the answer is NO, you can't replace it unless it's a remastered version that uses scene for scene the same stuff. It would also appear that you shouldn't upload the same video twice...

Ask a mod, be prepared for bad news, and hope you don't get it.

You just have to make the request and tell them in the message field: "Hey I just want the file deleted so I can upload a better quality version" or something close to that. Do NOT make a second video entry for a bigger version as that is umm...not how you do it.

As for how long it takes...well, I've done it with 2 vids, and I've noticed that bugging the hell out of that one Absolute Destiny guy on AIM speeds the process way up. :D

Shush. We get to delete requests when we get to them.
