Don't take it seriously but it's just a thought.
Why do anything creative?

None.

After all the pain, misery, and effort, no one cares. You will die friendless and alone, and your video will remain for all time as a testament to human stupidity.

Every once in a while they win you a pretty award. 8-)

But seriously, being able to watch something good and know you put it together is a pretty good feeling.
Even better if the video makes you laugh.

Even better if it makes you cackle with insane glee.

I don't know, I generally get a pretty good idea of exactly what people think when they criticize me. Occasionally down to each second of the video although in general people seem satisfied to just cover the the species of my mother and the lack of my parents marriage when I was born and leave it at that.

Strange, this is the third time today I've heard that. First was my wife telling me it. Then I got a fortune cookie with it. Now you're saying it. Perhaps I should take the hint. Excuse me while I go slit my wrists.

I do it for self validation. If people don't like my videos, my life is worthless and I want to die.

That I didn't pay as much for the anime DVD's as I would have the meth that would have done the same thing in keeping me up 24-7 for streches at a time...

Actually..I concur with Scintilla.....

For me it´s just the satisfaction when someone tells me he likes my amvs. And as long as anyone likes what I do, I will continue to create amvs.
