No AMV has ever introduced me to a band I grew to like, but some have reinforced me liking for a band.

Tash's Experience vid got me into Coldplay.

And yes..Euphoria (actually back when it was still in beta form) got me into Frou Frou. I'd say in the past 3 years, a large amount of my musical influences came from AMV's

not just a lot of new bands and songs for me, but a LOT of anime as well. i used to think that all anime was like dbz, which essentially ruined it for a good many years, but when someone showed me a few amvs, i was hooked and have found a great variety of different series.

Also, I've made mixcds of songs from AMVs I like...

Japanese FM radio station suck IMO , so , AMVs works for me as a way to get introduced into good bands . To have an idea of how much AMVs have been an important way of comuncation in my life , just imagine that the first time that I ever heard a Linkin Park song was watching that vid of Dark kamui

And some others that I don't remember now

I never would have heard of Aqua if it wasn't for AMVs. Now they are one of my favorites.
