I myself dont make AMVs, nor do i have any fucking Idea how to, but the one anime that ive seen that looked the crappiest in an AMV was Armitage III, most of the videos on this website were absolute crap, with the extreme exception of a few. like the one put to Ayumi Hamasaki's "End Of The World"

For me (as far as firsthand experience goes), it'd be Saint Tail. Due to its age and/or the quality of the DVD transfer, it has some seriously nasty artifacting. Shame too, since otherwise it would be decent source material.

well its not an anime but any videogame cutscenes are the worst to use, theres practically nothing to work with i mean sure there are some good scenes but its definitly not enough to make a really good amv

I know that problem VERY well , even using AVS scripts in my GMVs , the capture quality looks crappy if compared with videos made with Avisynth from anime DVDs.
Nothing usefull here .

An difficult anime..? wtf? It's that it's not the footage you may need. It's not an "difficult" anime.

but what if you have a really good idea for a show and you try it out but there is still 30 seconds of blank space? your gonna have to use fillers and THAT is what makes it hard to do, if there are no fillers than i don't think its very hard

Like I said, it's a simple footage problem. It's not an "difficult" anime.
