I'll have to see to belive if ur parents will enjoy an amv. MY dad...If i had one would probably say...Wtf are u on kid?...reaper. But ne ways since i live with a grandma it would be very difficult lol. If ur parents are open minded I would have to see this. Tell me what happens when the parents see the amv lol.
Finally a amv that a whole family could enjoy

AniMix? DDR? NES? Failed Experiments? I showed my parents the Trigun vid with Weird Al's Beer Song. They were laughing so hard at that too.Yokou Kurama wrote:I'll have to see to belive if ur parents will enjoy an amv. MY dad...If i had one would probably say...Wtf are u on kid?...reaper. The problem is that a lot of people (especially the olden generations) just don't get it. The first time I showed an AMV to my dad he didn't know what to think of it cause he had never before in is life ever even really seen anime and didn't even really know what anime was (not even on a ignorants 'it's all sex, violence and mechas' sorta way). He's at the point now where he likes stuff like Spirited Away...but only cause they take the bother to put it in American theaters, write reviews in shit like USA Today and throw a few academy awards it's way.Yokou Kurama wrote:I'll have to see to belive if ur parents will enjoy an amv. On a side note though, I've found older people who are educated (ie gone to college) tend to more easily take up an interest with anime than those who only have say a high school education. Not sure what the correlation is there, but it's something I've observed.

My parents like Here comes the Sun and Memories Dance especially (because they're big Studio Ghibli fans), but they like a number of the videos on My Favorites List. The only videos they really don't like are effects videos; they don't seem to have much of a problem with fanservice.Yokou Kurama wrote:I'll have to see to belive if ur parents will enjoy an amv. I'm really lucky to have such open parents who like some anime and rarely have a problem with any of it. Any show I'm watching, they'll come in and see if they like it. Often they don't (I have a hard time getting them to like TV series) but the only ones they've bugged me about at all were FLCL and Excel Saga.
About the college thing - both of my parents went to college.
