...Something seems wrong about the title.
*goes back to check*
...WTF?
Just to make sure, am I the only one who reads the title "So I'm balls deep in this hookers ass?"
...Plus wasn't there another thread like this before. I remember replying to.
*goes of to do some investigating*

I think that by definition, every editor has an individual style. However, some of these styles tend to stand out more and/or have a wider audience appeal. Thus, those editors become more well-known for it, while others with less distinctive styles usually don't. It's neat to be able to watch a video and have an idea about who it was created by due to recognizing a certain style. On the other hand though, it's also nice to get a video that's got a different style than any of the ones you're already familiar with.

Yea, I certainly have a style. I can't say how long it took to develop since most of its' elements have been there since I first started editing. But it did take me a while to make it work better...
The Birds are using humanity in order to throw something terrifying at this green pig. And then what happens to us all later, that’s simply not important to them…

I notice that you ask a lot of questions pertaining to video editing.
I think everyone has a different style. If you'd like to develop your own, simply create more videos. The more you edit, the more decisions you'll make on your vids that'll affect your overall style. That's really all there is to it.

I'm not sure I have much of a style now, but I'm working on it... it's sort of coming out in where I choose to place the cuts, exactly... Right now it's more of a thing where I watch an AMV and I say, "A cut would be good here" and I recognize where someone's style differs from mine.
...then there's my interpretation of a song, which sometimes is more artistic choice than what footage I have ^^;
