I remember that. We were all sitting at a diner (I believe it was myself, Iserlohn, Vic, Senta, sds, and ssgwnbtd) and about 3 girls came up to Vic asking him for his autograph. I just sat there like "Come on now. He's not a celebrate hun." They didn't look much older than me at the time (I was 13 turning 14 the next day) so it was kinda scary, but I guess popularity can have it's ups, if that's what you call it...azulmagia wrote:dokool wrote:People I know in real life (mostly my friends) like my videos, naturally. I made a video, showed a friend at school, and gave him an AMV disc of AMVs. He played mine during CAD and the entire class watched it. All of them looked at me and were like "what the fuck? this is fucking AWESOME!" I picked up 30 fans right there, lol. For one of our speeches this year in Speech (damn freshamn class that haunts me) I'm gonna talk about AMVs and then play one. Pick up 30 more fans, lol

Sorry for double post.
I was at the mall once, looking at anime, and this person saw the Pork Sausage or Globocide page (can't remember) and recognized me. We talked about what programs I used, how I did stuff and found good combos. It was fun, we then proceded to lunch where we talked more, and haven't seen eachother since. Ironic, eh? Good times it was

I had fans once... then I stopped replying to email, usually due to either laziness or an inability to respond to people I don't know... those fans went away. The rest of my fans were lost due to some form of intoxication - usually my berating them for being fans, or other bad things that I won't mention here (again). Don't neglect your fans!

I'll say. I forgot to air out my CPU fan once, and eventually it just stopped working. I only noticed when my computer system began to manifest the symptoms of heat damage.Nightowl wrote:Don't neglect your fans!

So, I guess you shouldn't only neglect your fans, but investment in hardware with self-monitoring capabilities wouldn't be a bad idea either.

However, most people don't seem to really care :¬ P
Except I've never really had a random fan before. The chance of having one is point zero zero zero zero percent. (in my city there is 3000 people).
How did they even recognize you? Do you post pics of yourself?
