is there a way to ad a "letterbox" effect to my vi

Did I mention DivX SUCKS?

Adobe Premiere, AE, Ulead, will NOT import or be able to use DivX.
Even with a AVISynth DirectShowSource() file.

Actually, Adobe Premiere 5.1 will take DivX files. I learned that back when I didn't know what I was doing and wasn't completing any of my projects.

However, they still suck for editing purposes. Ugly green stuff everywhere in far too many places, unless your clip happens to start on a keyframe.
