What's in store for the future of AMV's?

The AMV scene in 10 to 20 years:
There will be none. People will be too busy running through ruined cities dodging gunfire, arrows, and rocks thrown by raiders and hooligan mobs. All of which are lead by me, naturally. And all of which will come about because of the actions of a certain Mr. Earthcurrent.
Commence fist-shaking.
Seriously, I see more of the same. People do PC editing like they do now, pretty much, just the quality can be higher.
A better question would be, what sort of anime will be out there to inspire videos? I'm not sure of the answer, really. Certainly, there seems to be a stagnation of sorts right now. Maybe that's just me, though.

I'm thinking that as AMV's get more popularity that people are going to start getting sued. Not sure by who, but it can happen.
So in other words, one part of the community is waging war on another part of the community because they take their community seriously enough to want to do so. Then they tell the powerless side to get over the loss cause it's just an online community. I'm glad people make so much sense." -- Tab
