Re: Off-site honors
I've found stuff of mine (mostly Genkaiten) on forums and video streaming sites in something like 7 different languages. I found out after the fact that it was uploaded on NND and taken down for copyright violations 3 separate times. My stuff also appears in dozens of AMV torrent packs apparently.

Re: Off-site honors
There's the usual people uploading to youtube and aggregate sites collecting that. Kinda wish the vids I uploaded under my name would be the most popular youtube versions of them, but whatever, at least the ones I know of give me credit.
It's not online, but was made after Run Lola Run was shown in a film class a couple semesters ago. I showed the teacher it once I was done just for the fuck of it. I didn't expect the teacher to show it the whole class though. I *REALLY* didn't expect to get an email from him a few months later, in the following semester, asking if he could show it to that class as well. So apparently I'm being inflicted on some college students.
And I'm up by .02% today.
*edit* Oh yeah, almost forgot, got some minor play and mention among schizophrenic groups. I've occasionally heard reports of it being used by schizophrenics to show their family members/friends what it's like. One non-profit foundation was going to use it as part of their education on schizophrenia, but once I explained the possible copyright issues with AMVs they decided to just link to it rather than actually present it. Kinda disappointing, but I didn't want to end up being the cause of a non-profit foundations legal problems.
had a kinda odd thing, for me at least. Someone uploaded it to a russian youtube like service. A viewer there liked it enough to email me. At first that didn't register to me, but once I thought about it, my email address isn't listed on the site. They must have tracked me down to the org, which AFAIK is the only place my email address is listed. While knowing the video title and my nick makes my org account easy to find (it's the first hit for googling godix even without a video title), I was mildly surprised someone had gone to the effort too do so.

Re: Off-site honors
Oh right, some of the responses reminded me...
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i_gTnb8w ... h_response I have my very own kinorip!
Someone uploaded One to YT, but it screws the sync up on there, so he deleted it :> There are some uploads on various sites, though.
http://c6171hina.pixnet.net/blog/post/31108212 Someone called it MAD, which, to me, is a high praise.
http://2.syawa.net/nicotter/watch/sm8520129 Got uploaded by someone who likes blue/purple hair too.
Etc etc etc

Re: Off-site honors
From what I recall, I somehow found one of my AMVs on the tube, which in some way managed to keep alive with even more popularity that the one I had before my account died. Searching by my nickname on google gives out many unexpected results which are completely unrelated to me

Re: Off-site honors
I've gotten some mentions off-site, but mainly for three videos. Citius, Artius, Fortius has a few mentions going back several years, Magical Barrage has the most mentions (though given the rabid Nanoha fans, that doesn't surprise me), and Focal Perspective which has the most different mentions (most of the MB mentions are all the same style, FP mentions are mostly unique). There is apparently one upload of Azu Heart on NND, though.
