Frankly I thought it was cool idea. One, because it helps both creators without hosting and fans without high speed Internet and two, I don't have to burn 400 CDs in one week (oh, sorry, flashbacks). The idea seemed simple enough to me and provided the database was set up properly easy enough to do as well.
So what I'm looking for here is feedback from both creators and fans. Creators, would you be willing to send in a CD of your work for distrobution? Fans (or other creators, I guess), would you make use of such a service?
Before the questions come in let me know clarify a few things. No video would every be distrobuted without the expressed will of the creator. Naturally there would be no charge for this service. People would fill out a form on a web site and mail in a self addressed and stamped envelope and the CDs needed. The CDs they wanted would then be copied to their CDs and sent back in their envelope.
