I've been thinking about doing this AMV for a while... it may not be japanese animation but i've always been a fan of the series... seeing how its a bit of a drama series and the song goes real well with the theme of the entire series and also its called mechanical animals for crying out loud... I mean Sonic ... Mechanical Animals? Not far fetched at all.
