A love song for Tokyo (suggested footage?)

I've decided to do an AMV that is, basically, a tribute to Tokyo (both contemporary and historical), using Billy Joel's "New York State of Mind" for the music. (Perhaps not the most literally-accurate piece of music for such a work, but the song is, literally, a love song for New York, and could easily be used in an analogous sense for any other city.)

I have a couple of anime in mind for this project (there is, after all, no way I could do this using only one series).
Does anyone have any series they'd like to suggest for this?
