Editing in linux

Just went trhoug the lengthy installation of this OS now i would like to know wich are the most appropiate free video editors available for this, im using suse 9.3 wich comes with its own video editor wich is ...ok but i want to know of other options without having to waste an afternoon in google, share ur favourites here.
