I NEED HELP WITH GETTING RID OF SUBS!

I only have Windows Movie Maker, so is it even possible?

import the subs externaly into vdub crop the subs off and xport them into a usable source for wmm then edite or you could just edite aroud the subs like most people do or get raws.

Well, the "Subtitle Removal Guide by Zarxrax and Machine" in the "how to guides" section explains almost everything for subtitle removal. The best way is to crop the part where the subs appears in VirtualDub, if you want to the easy way out or just get the raw footage. My way is finding raw footage or painting over the subs(this is explained in the "Subtitle Removal Guide by Zarxrax and Machine").

I found the raws of several videos I want to use but when I pull them up in Vegas 6 they are extremely pixelated. They play fine otherwise. I'm pretty mad over this because I paid for them and everything but I don't know what to do.

they may be pixelated but do u rbest in your avisynth script. or try ripping the footage better. something is bound to work

damn that sounds confusing!...
i was wondering the samn thing actually...didnt think it was possible to get out the subs less it already not on it...ic now u can get it out...but of the looks of it i dont think ill get it

the easy way...crop it in virtualdubmod.

1. go to full processing mode
2. go to filters under video.
3. add the null transform option
4. click cropping after u add it
5. choose the bottom Y to rise up and cut off as high as the subtitles go.
(sucks if some very good things are clipped out, but no subs.)

full process mode? where do i go to get there? i have windows movie maker as well...i dont see that option i believe...or where do i go to get there

in virtualdubmod...go to video> full processing mode. dont use WMM2. it's garbage. lol
