Newbie needs help

ok, so heres the thing. I couldn't find any clips on a internet search so i tried using some clips from amv's that i downloaded via bearshare. I find the clips i want but they already have music on them, so is there a way to remove the music from the clips or is [Request omitted.]? im using windows movie maker.
