Where the hell is CastorTroy. All he used to do was make vids to japanese songs so hes the person to ask about this.

Anyways, I use Japanese music since I don't have to rely on lyric matching and still hear the vocals.

OK, what I think is a major point has been neglected and this makes up the majority of my 2 yen

Using another language is not an excuse to ignore the lyrics! (if they're present)

Translations can often be easily looked up on the net in the event that you don't know the language of the song you are using. If you don't understand a word of the song, I do wonder how you work out the idea in the first place. I've seen this mistake made, and badly, where japanese songs are used with footage that is as far away as possible from matching up with any form of relevance. It's a pretty sad sight that does make your head hurt.

If you're gonna use a song in another language, the lyrics STILL MATTER! Find a translation, or even do one yourself if you have the ability.

Otherwise, this kind of thing is encouraged. I have plans myself along these lines but currently lack the needed source material for those.
