Like a lot of genres of music that exist, I tend to enjoy Trip Hop songs when I hear them but I don't actively hunt them down. I like the Sneaker Pimps...well, I liked them when they had their first female lead singer.

Life's short.

This is a breif and/or short definition of what Trip-Hop is..
***hope it helps for those who don't know it***
Trip-hop is an offshoot of soul, R&B, rap, hip-hop, raggae, rock and electronics performed by British musicians and DJs. Sometimes referred to as "The Bristol Sound", Brit-rap or Euro-rap, trip-hop styles range form sounding more like one of the above mentioned styles to several mixed and fused together with cloudy, down-tempo (slack) beats, shimmering atmospheric sound effects (hence "trip") and samples popularized by hip-hop music (hence "hop"). British DJs were not really trying to create new style of music but due to experimentation with techno, rock, hip-hop beats and other Afro-American and Jamaican styles a new style of music emerged. Thebest trip-hop music can project a wide range of emotions and moods from melancholy, passion, yearning, isolation, contempt and joy to being mysterious, sinister, intense, bold and hypnotic
