Somebody help, please
I am extremely new to making amv, but i have been a fan for years. I don't have a capture card, but I have many DVDs, and whole series as Real Media files. Can somebody please tell me where I can get a free program that converts RM files, and one that rips DVDs.

Check the guides for ripping DVDs. On Ermac and AD's guide I personally recomend DVDdecrypter of the two, the interface is easier. Read the whole guid though if you are new to AMVs, I just started ripping DVDs even though I've been making AMVs for six years and I tweaked with the whole thing to no end but I only recomend tweaking with these programs if you know exactly what you're doing.lpjordy wrote:I am extremely new to making amv, but i have been a fan for years. As for RM. Don't use it. RM isn't a great video source, and there is a great loss of quality when the source was put into that, so it's just going to get worse and wont' be any good for output.
