Les Triplettes de Belleville

I finally saw the incredible French Film, The Triplets of Belleville. A veritable spark of animation imagination. . . and really infectious music. The theme song, Belleville Rendez-Vous, is such a fun, catchy jazz tune. I think it would make for an interesting AMV collage or something that could also incorporate footage from this film.

I keep imagining some setting where Anime characters are watching TV and making fun or commenting on other "foriegn" animation (much like how the movie starts, if you've seen it) - and then scenes from The Triplets of Belleville pop in there. . . I just can't work out a complete narrative story or direction for doing that (what anime and such).

Got any ideas, feel free to try. - It's a really cool movie and a neat song.
