the first one would be an all out spaz-fest using FLCL footage and the brilliant insanity of Mr Bungle's - Ma Meeshka Mow Skwoz. The song has several wonderful little quirks in it like a drill sound (for example) for just a second an I'm thinking that you could do some excellent synching
numero ...two. one piece with the Pogues - bottle of smoke a wonderful irish romp of a song featuring a cocky swagger of a melody and slurred lyrics about bad behaviour and just a real sense of bawdyness. this going with one piece pirate and general quirkiness and overall swing would make a wonderful couple
and last but not least nina simone's "sinnerman" with cowboy bebop, two hip cats, the sense of urgency in nina simones song would go great with a lot of the chase scenes and space fighting, and with a wonderful crescendo later int the song you could really fire of some of the more spectactular scenes in cowboy and get away with it
